Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Maximum heat indices both Friday and Saturday ranged from 102 degrees to 113 degrees, but most locations were in the 105 to 110 degree range. Today will see similar numbers, as actual air temperatures top out from the mid 90s to near 100 degrees again.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday One more day of dangerous heat and humidity is forecast tomorrow. There is a chance of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be strong with gusty winds the main threat. A small risk for strong to severe storms may develop late Wednesday into Thursday.
