HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Heat index values will peak in the 103 to 108 degree range for many locations this afternoon. Temperatures tonight will not fall below 70 degrees across the bulk of the area. There is a small threat for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The strongest of these could contain gusty winds and heavy downpours.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Thunderstorms are possible on Saturday and could produce strong to locally damaging wind gusts as well as heavy rain. There is a small chance for a thunderstorm Sunday and Monday afternoons - but most places stay dry. Thursday will also see a chance for thunderstorms.

Spotters are encouraged to report any incidents of wind damage or excessive rainfall through the start of the weekend.
