This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. A few scattered non-severe storms could linger across a few portions of the area this morning. The majority of the storms should move out of the area by 10AM. Another round of storms could return tonight. Though most storms should remain sub-severe, a few isolated stronger to marginally severe storms may still be possible to once again bring gusty winds up to near 60MPH with small hail. A few portions of north central Kansas and southeast Nebraska could see heat index values reach as high as 100 to 105 degrees this afternoon.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Scattered thunderstorm chances return virtually every evening to night across at least a portion of the area through Thursday. A marginal risk of severe weather is currently in place for Saturday night. A few portions of north central Kansas and southeast Nebraska could again see heat index values reach as high as 100 to 105 degrees on Saturday afternoon. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings
