This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Showers and a few thunderstorms will linger this morning, mainly across central Kansas into the Flint Hills. Severe storms are not expected with this activity. Heat indices greater than 100 degrees are possible this afternoon along the Kansas and Oklahoma border.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday A few storms will be possible Thursday and Friday nights across central Kansas. A few strong storms appear possible with this activity. More widespread heat indices greater than 100 degrees are expected again for Saturday-Tuesday impacting much of south-central and southeast Kansas.
