This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Patchy fog is possible before about 9 AM generally along and north of a line extending from Russell to Newton to Parsons. A few thunderstorms are possible late tonight over central and north-central Kansas. Widespread severe weather is unlikely.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday A few thunderstorms could linger generally west of the Flint Hills Thursday morning. Chances for off-and-on thunderstorm are possible across the region Sunday evening through mid next week. Stay tuned as we refine forecast details. Widespread triple digit heat indices are expected this weekend through mid next week.
