This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight Heat indices of 105 to 110 degree range will impact portions of central, south central and southeast Kansas this afternoon and early evening. Storms will once again be possible this evening and into the overnight hours across central and portions of south central Kansas. The strongest storms will produce damaging winds around 60 mph and locally heavy rain.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday Heat indices in the 105 to 110 degree range are expected again on Saturday, with the biggest impacts across south central and southeast Kansas. Storms will remain possible on Saturday through Monday, with western and central Kansas having the best coverage. A few strong storms will be possible through the period.
