This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
DAY ONE
TONIGHT
The main round of storms is forecast to move in from the west around this evening. Wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail around half dollar size is possible. This may injure anyone outdoors and may damage siding and crops. The severe weather threat will end around midnight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
Dense fog may again return Monday morning should storm coverage end or wane. Visibilities less than one quarter mile may be possible. Ensure enough extra time is given for the morning commute. High temperatures around 105 degrees are possible Tuesday across the Tri- State area with minimal cooling Monday night. These temperatures put additional stress on the body, especially the young and elderly. Near daily chances for at least isolated strong to severe storms through the majority of the upcoming week.
