This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight An isolated late afternoon or early evening could develop across southeast Kansas. Gusty winds to around 50 mph and brief heavy rain will be possible with any storm that develops. Heat indices may exceed 105 across far southeast Kansas late this afternoon. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday Heat indices may exceed 100 across portions of south-central and southeast Kansas Thursday afternoon. Periodic chances for showers and storms will return very late Friday night and continue through Sunday evening.
