This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Fog will affect locations mainly north of a Great Bend to McPherson, to Marion line early this morning. Patchy dense fog is possible. Heat indices may exceed 100 degrees across portions of south- central and southeast Kansas this afternoon.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday Chances for thunderstorms will increase this weekend with a few strong storms possible mainly for Saturday afternoon and evening. Some of the stronger storms will be capable of producing small hail, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall.
