This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central, north central, and northeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight There remains a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across parts of north central Kansas this evening. Areas along and north of a line from Minneapolis to Marysville stand the better chance of seeing storms. The concern is for damaging winds around 60 mph.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday Thunderstorm chances are expected to increase Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Areas along and south of Interstate 70 will have a marginal risk for severe storms Tuesday afternoon. Areas north of Interstate 70 could see repeated rounds of heavy rain Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning with rain totals of a few inches possible. A flood watch is posted for northeast KS from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.
