This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
Tonight Isolated to widely scattered storms will remain possible tonight in areas mainly along and north of Highway 56. The strongest storms may produce quarter sized hail and downburst winds around 60 mph.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday Heat indices in the 105 to 110 degree range on Friday and Saturday, highest across south central and southeast Kansas. Storms will be possible each night during the Friday night through Sunday night time frame, with western and central Kansas having the better coverage. A few strong storms appear possible with this activity.
