Colfax Church Weather Advisory
This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas, east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight Isolated thunderstorms could redevelop over mainly south-central and southeast Kansas late this afternoon and evening. While most locations will likely remain dry, any thunderstorm that can manage to form will be capable of golfball size hail, 70 mph winds, and locally heavy rain. Additional thunderstorm development is expected later this evening and overnight areawide. The primary risk with this activity will be large hail and pockets of heavy rainfall, which may support localized flooding.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday Thunderstorms could affect southeast Kansas Friday morning with locally heavy rainfall as the main hazard. Thunderstorm chances may return to central Kansas on Tuesday afternoon and area-wide Wednesday night.
