Codell Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. - Fog concerns: A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until at least 1 PM for nine of our Nebraska and Kansas counties in far southern and western portions of our forecast area. Even beyond 1 PM, at least patchy dense fog could continue later into the afternoon, especially in and near Gosper and Dawson Counties in Nebraska. From around sunset and into the overnight hours, at least pockets of dense fog could again become an issue, but this time mainly for our Nebraska counties along and especially north of Interstate 80. - Thunderstorm potential: Through roughly 1 AM tonight, mainly spotty/isolated and weak thunderstorm activity is possible almost anywhere in our forecast area.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Late Sunday night through Monday afternoon, chances for thunderstorms return to our entire area. Although still a few days away and thus subject to forecast uncertainty, it currently appears that parts of the area could see a few storms on the stronger side. This same storm system also appears that it will bring fairly strong winds to our area, particularly from Monday evening into Tuesday, when sustained north-northwest winds of at least 30 MPH and gusts of at least 40-50 MPH are currently forecast. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings
