up to 60 mph. Level 2 of 5 Large Hail Risk
up to Half Dollar size. Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk. Limited Flooding Risk. DISCUSSION
Isolated non-severe thunderstorms may persist into northern Illinois this morning, mainly north of Interstate 88. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop along a cold front this afternoon into early evening with the greatest coverage and severe threat favored near and east of a Paxton to Valparaiso line. The strongest storms may be capable of localized damaging winds and large hail.
