Adams County in northeastern Indiana
Huntington County in northeastern Indiana
Wells County in northeastern Indiana
WHEN
Until 1000 AM EDT Friday. IMPACTS
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 216 PM EDT,Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms had come to an end. However, due to recent heavy rainfall Flooding, areal flooding is expected to continue tonight into Friday morning. Emergency mangement reports continued flooding across the warned area with several roads closed. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Huntington, Bluffton, Decatur, Berne, Geneva, Andrews, Markle, Monroe, Warren, Lancaster, Preble, Nottingham, Uniondale, Bryant, Poneto, Mount Etna, Vera Cruz, Travisville, North Oaks and Wellsburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. && LAT
