Sunday through Friday An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for the entire Quad State Sunday; refer to the Warning for details. The best chance of storms, including strong storms, is Sunday night and Wednesday night.

Dangerously hot conditions with daily heat indices in the triple digits up to around 110 degrees; localized higher heat indices are possible. WHERE

Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Maximum heat indices Friday ranged from 102 degrees to 113 degrees. This weekend will see similar numbers, as actual air temperatures top out from the mid 90s to around 100 degrees.
