Limited Thunderstorm Risk, mainly south of Interstate 80. DISCUSSION
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue south of interstate 80 ahead of a cold front through midnight. Torrential downpours are expected with these storms in addition to locally gusty winds up to 40-50 mph.

Thunderstorm chances return late Tuesday into Wednesday, some could be strong to severe and produce torrential rainfall which may lead to flooding.

Kankakee River from Near I-65 and De Motte downstream to IL/IN state line, including the Shelby gauge. WHEN
Until late Monday night. IMPACTS
At 10.5 feet, Water overflows low-lying river banks along Bluegrass Road east of Sumava Resorts and along Westwood Drive and Island Boulevard near Shelby. Water begins to be diverted through the Blackberry Marsh Spillway to reduce flood impacts. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
