A line of severe thunderstorms may move through the area on Sunday with damaging winds as the primary threat. The threat for severe weather is greatest near and east of Interstate 55. Strong non-thunderstorm winds are also likely on Sunday. Accumulating snow and blowing snow are likely to occur in at least part of the area Sunday night into Monday and will lead to travel impacts. The greatest accumulations and travel impacts are currently most likely to occur west of Interstate 55.
