Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 1045 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood, Lawrence, Plainfield, Beech Grove, Speedway, Southport, Westfield, Avon, Cumberland, Fortville, Meridian Hills, Warren Park, Clermont, Homecroft, Rocky Ripple and Williams Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. WHERE
Portions of central, east central, north central, and west central Indiana, including the following counties, in central Indiana, Boone, Clinton, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby and Tipton. In east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In north central Indiana, Carroll. In west central Indiana, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion and Warren. WHEN
Until 8 AM EDT Thursday. IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible through tonight due to training thunderstorms along a slow moving front. Locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out. These rainfall amounts could quickly lead to flash flooding as soils remain saturated from recent rainfall. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.
DAY ONE
Through Tonight. Widespread minor to moderate river flooding will continue along the Wabash, White, and East Fork White Rivers and adjacent lowlands. A flood watch is in effect through 8 AM Thursday as training thunderstorms over saturated soils could lead to localized flash flooding. Isolated strong to severe storms are also possible with primarily a damaging wind gust threat and potential for some hail.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday. Severe weather is not expected, but lightning is a hazard with any storm.
