Roads and streets may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are already elevated, increasing the risk of flooding due to additional rainfall. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop and move across northern and central Illinois and northwest Indiana tonight. Torrential rainfall will be possible with these showers and thunderstorms. Another wave of heavy rain producing showers and thunderstorms is expected ahead of a cold front tonight into Sunday morning. These storms will produce torrential downpours and locally gusty winds. Flash flooding may result in areas where multiple storms move over the same areas.
