Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 523 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include

Through Tonight. Thunderstorms are possible across much of the area this afternoon and evening. While severe storms are not expected, some storms will contain gusty winds. Lightning and heavy rain are possible with any storm. Heat indices in the upper 90s to around 100 are expected across much of the area this afternoon.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Chances for thunderstorms will continue for much of the time into early next week. Locally heavy rain is possible with any storm. Max heat indices in the upper 90s to around 100 are expected again Thursday afternoon, especially across the southern half of the area.
