This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central Illinois
northwest Illinois
west central Illinois
east central Iowa
northeast Iowa
southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri.
DAY ONE
TODAY AND TONIGHT Patchy fog is possible this morning and could become dense in low lying areas and river valleys. Scattered thunderstorms could develop late this afternoon into the overnight hours. The SPC has a Marginal Risk, Level 1 out of 5, for severe storms along and north of a line between Keosauqua, IA and Dubuque, IA with the primary hazards being lightning, damaging winds, and locally heavy downpours.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY Another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday night. A few of these storms could turn severe along and west of the Mississippi River in southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. Primary hazards once again are lighting, gusty winds, and heavy downpours.

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and evening.
