PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&

DAY ONE
TODAY AND TONIGHT Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible late tonight mainly after midnight and into Sunday morning. Although severe storms are not currently expected, a few storms may be able to produce at least small hail.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY Strong to severe storms will be possible Sunday afternoon and evening, especially along and north of the Interstate 80 corridor. Damaging winds will be the primary threat from these Sunday storms. The Storm Prediction Center has placed these areas in a Slight (Level 2 of 5) Risk for severe weather on Sunday. More strong to severe storms will be possible on Monday. Depending on cloud cover and areas of rain, hot conditions may occur on Sunday and Monday with heat index readings approaching or exceeding 100 degrees. Areas most likely for this heat will be along and south of the Interstate 80 corridor.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation is not anticipated for today, but may be needed on Sunday.
