Elevated Thunderstorm Risk
with an associated: Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk
up to 60 mph. Significant Flooding Risk. High Swim Risk Illinois Lake Michigan Beaches. DISCUSSION
Thunderstorms with heavy rain will move across parts of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana this morning with localized flash flooding possible. Additional thunderstorms with heavy rain are possible late this evening and overnight with localized flash flooding also possible. A few of the storms may be strong to locally severe, mainly south of the Illinois and Kankakee Rivers. High waves will create dangerous swimming conditions at Lake Michigan beaches in northeast Illinois.

with an associated: Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk. High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches. Monday through Wednesday
High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches. DISCUSSION
Periods of heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms will be possible Sunday with a continued localized flash flooding risk. Persistent northeast winds will maintain high waves and dangerous swimming conditions at Lake Michigan beaches in northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana through the middle of next week.
