southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri.
DAY ONE
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT There is a conditional low-end threat for severe storms late this afternoon and evening south of I-80. The primary hazards will be gusty winds and heavy rain. Multiple rounds of storms will be seen overnight tonight, with heavy rain leading to a localized flash flooding risk.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY Additional rainfall Wednesday afternoon and evening poses a localized flash flood threat, especially in areas that see repeated rounds of storms. There is a Slight Risk, level 2 out of 4, for excessive rainfall south of Highway 20. There is also a low-end threat for severe storms with a Marginal Risk, level 1 of 5, south of Highway 30 Wednesday. The primary hazards will be lightning and gusty winds, but small hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and evening.
