This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Isolated thunderstorms are possible late tonight. Locally strong to severe storms and flash flooding are possible. The main severe weather threat will be isolated damaging winds up to 60 mph.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday. Hot and humid conditions will peak Sunday, with afternoon heat indices ranging from 98 to 105 degrees. Thunderstorm chances continue Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening, with some strong to severe with damaging winds the main threat. Locally heavy rainfall will also be a threat. Due to the heavy rainfall from last night, several rivers are or will be in flood for the next several days. These rivers include the Illinois, Sangamon, and Vermilion.

At 24.5 feet, Water is at or near critical stages of many agricultural levees. Flooding of about 10 residential properties in South Lake area begins. North Lake and Izaak Walton are now a part of the Wabash River. West Road in northern Vigo county floods. Flood waters surround homes in lowest areas near Fort Harrison Country Club. Backwater extends up Lost Creek to 13th Street. Seep water in the U.S. 41 and SR 63 split. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
