Lutticken South Pond Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west central Illinois, mainly near and west of the Illinois River.
DAY ONE
Late This Afternoon and Tonight. A few thunderstorms are expected to linger into the evening. While a few strong wind gusts remain possible, the severe weather threat continues to diminish. Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees will continue through the afternoon.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Heat index values around 100 degrees are expected across the I-72 corridor Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday afternoon, primarily south of a Rushville to Bloomington line. A few strong storms may occur Thursday as well in this same area. Late in the week, the thunderstorm threat will become more confined areas near and north of I-74.
