Elevated Excessive Heat Risk this evening. Limited Thunderstorm Risk after midnight. DISCUSSION
The combination of high temperatures in the lower 90s and high humidity values will lead to heat indices up to around 105 degrees through early evening. Isolated thunderstorms may drift into far northern Illinois after midnight and linger into early Thursday morning. No severe weather is expected.

Limited to Elevated Excessive Heat Risk mainly south of Interstate 80. Limited Flooding Risk. Limited Thunderstorm Risk
with an associated: Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk. Saturday
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. DISCUSSION
Dangerous heat will continue through Thursday and possibly into Friday, especially south of Interstate 80. Waves of severe thunderstorms may move through the general region Thursday through Saturday.
