Until 1015 PM CDT. IMPACTS
Flooding is occurring in poor drainage such as ditches and fields. In addition, flooding is occurring on roadways with several inches of standing water near shoulders or portions of lanes. Due to falling leaves, storm drains and ditches may be clogged increasing the risk of flooding. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 713 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated torrential downpours across the Advisory area, especially near Joliet, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Tinley Park, and the south side of Chicago. - Some locations that will experience flooding include

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. WHERE
Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Central Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Eastern Will, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lake IL, Lee, Northern Cook, Northern Will, Southern Cook and Southern Will and northwest Indiana, including the following area, Lake IN. WHEN
Until 10 PM CDT this evening. IMPACTS
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Periods of soaking rain will continue through the afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates may reach 2 inches per hour in localized corridors. Such rainfall rates on saturated soils may lead to flooding particularly in low lying and flood prone areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Elevated Flooding Risk. Limited Thunderstorm Risk. DISCUSSION
Periods of showers will continue through this evening. Isolated thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall may occur this afternoon and evening and lead to localized flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas in addition to rises on area rivers and streams.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday. No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
