This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west central Illinois.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Additional storms are possible this evening mainly east of the Illinois River. Gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary hazards, but the overall severe weather threat is low. Due to heavy rain, several rivers are in flood.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Thunderstorm chances return Tuesday night and Wednesday. A few strong storms are possible Tuesday night northwest of the Illinois River, otherwise locally heavy rain will be a primary hazard. Flooding along the Spoon River is expected to subside by Tuesday, but will continue on the Illinois River from Havana downstream for several days.
