THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT With all the recent heavy rainfall and run off, several area creeks and rivers are experiencing significant rises and are flooding. Many of these rivers, including portions of the mainstem Mississippi River from the Quad Cities on southward, will have the potential to rise near or above the flood stage over the next several days. MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. River flooding may occur on several tributary rivers and portions of the mainstem Mississippi River.
