This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Scattered thunderstorms will come to an end early this morning across northwest Iowa. The main threats will be locally heavy rainfall, possibly one to two inches. Otherwise, late tonight into Thursday morning scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected with isolated severe storms possible. The better chances will be near and east of Interstate 29. Hail to the size of ping pong balls and wind gusts to 70 mph will be the main threats.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Heat will build into the area with heat indices from 90 to 100 Thursday through Saturday.
