Cooper School Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Scattered thunderstorms may develop over western and central South Dakota late this evening. One or more clusters of strong to severe storms may develop and move southeast through the Tri-State area after sunset and exit the area by 5am. These storms will be capable of golf ball size hail as they develop, with storms transitioning to the potential of 70 mph winds as they move southeast.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms continue every night through Wednesday. A few storms could become strong to severe.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation will likely be needed after 10pm.
