The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low. A few storms may linger into the evening across portions of central Georgia. Primary impacts will be gusty winds, lightning, and brief heavy rainfall.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday
Thunderstorm activity increases and spreads across the area from Friday into the weekend. Primary threats would be gusty winds, frequent lightning, and locally heavy rainfall. Afternoon heat index values remain into the upper 90s to low 100s each day through early next week.
