This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.
DAY ONE
Tonight
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible overnight in north Georgia. A few storms may become strong with gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall. High rain rates may pose an isolated flash flood risk, especially in the mountains.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each afternoon through the week. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be primary storm threats. Some storms on Wednesday could become severe with the primary threat being damaging wind gusts.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
