This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight
A line of widespread showers and storms will move across the area this evening and overnight. Strong to locally severe thunderstorms are possible over northwest Georgia to the I-85 corridor, and in west-central GA. The primary threats would be damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall, but hail and a brief spin up tornado will also be possible.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday
Another round of showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday into Monday, with much cooler temperatures to follow.

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
