DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight
A line of thunderstorms is expected to push across portions of north and central Georgia this evening into tonight. Strong to potentially damaging wind gusts as well as hail up to the size of quarters, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall is possible within the strongest storms. A brief spin-up tornado can also not be ruled out.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday
Thunderstorms may become more widespread late Wednesday into Thursday ahead of a cold front. Isolated strong to severe storms with damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning, and locally heavy rainfall will be possible.

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
