PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&

DAY ONE
Tonight
An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible through daybreak. Any storms that form will be capable of producing gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday
Hot and humid conditions will persist through the weekend, with heat indices in the triple digits each day. Another Heat Advisory will be in effect for central and much of north Georgia from noon to 8 PM EDT on Friday. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each afternoon through the weekend into next week. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be primary storm threats.

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local and state guidelines.
