Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible through the night. Patchy dense fog development is likely as we approach daybreak, especially for areas that received rounds of heavy rainfall today.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday
Thunderstorm activity increases and spreads across the area into the weekend. The primary threats in any storms that form are gusty winds, frequent lightning, and locally heavy rainfall. Afternoon heat index values remain into the upper 90s to low 100s each day through early next week.
