FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT SATURDAY FOR NORTHERN OKALOOSA AND NORTHEASTERN SANTA ROSA COUNTIES
At 1133 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 5 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD

Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include
Crestview, Baker, Laurel Hill, Cannon Town, Nubbin Ridge, Rock Creek, Kellys Mill, Blackman, Galliver, Milligan, Holt, Munson, Escambia Farms, Good Hope, Peaden, Clear Springs, Belandville, Silver Springs, Auburn and Garden City.

LOCATIONS AFFECTED - Jay - Milton WIND - LATEST LOCAL FORECAST: Equivalent Tropical Storm force wind - Peak Wind Forecast: 30-40 mph with gusts to 80 mph - Window for Tropical Storm force winds: through the next few hours - THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY THAT INCLUDES TYPICAL FORECAST UNCERTAINTY IN TRACK, SIZE AND INTENSITY: Potential for wind greater than 110 mph - The wind threat has remained nearly steady from the previous assessment. - PLAN: Plan for extreme wind of equivalent CAT 3 hurricane force or higher. - PREPARE: Last minute efforts should solely focus on protecting life. The area remains subject to catastrophic wind damage. - ACT: Now is the time to shelter from life-threatening wind. - Hurricane Isaias will continue to lift northward across the western Florida Panhandle into south central Alabama. Isaias is expected to produce additional storm total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches in the watch area with localized higher amounts up 6 inches.
