PATCHY DENSE FOG INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
. Areas of fog have formed across southern of Connecticut this evening due to residual moisture and light winds. Some of the fog will be locally dense, reducing visibilities to a 1/4 mile or less. The fog will dissipate following a cold frontal passage that should pass to the south of the area by 5 am. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibilities and should use caution if traveling. Slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
