Parkview School Weather Advisory
This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central
east central
south central and southeast Colorado.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight A few thunderstorms will be possible mainly south and east of a line from Lamar to Trinidad this afternoon and early evening. Hail up to 1 inch in diameter, wind gusts up to 60 mph, lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary storm risks. Elsewhere over the region, any shower or thunderstorm activity will be very isolated. Thunderstorms will diminish during the evening with dry conditions expected overnight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday Dry conditions will spread in for Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures heat up once more. Monsoon moisture will spread back into the region Friday into early next week. This will bring a return of thunderstorms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall to southern Colorado. The mountains will see the best chance for heavy rainfall.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be possible over portions of the region.
