At 302 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Mancos, or 18 miles west of Durango, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include
Hesperus, Breen, and Mayday. This includes the following highways
U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 66 and 77. Colorado 140 between mile markers 13 and 23.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
