This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central
east central
south central and southeast Colorado.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Elevated fire danger will continue across portions of the higher terrain of the Continental Divide and into the interior valleys through the day today.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday Isolated to scattered showers and storms return for the weekend into early next week, especially over the higher terrain of the Continental Divide, as temperatures cool slightly on Saturday, warm back above seasonal levels on Sunday, and then cool slightly again on Monday. A stronger weather system will bring much cooler temperatures to the region on Tuesday, with another influx of monsoonal moisture bringing better chances daily showers and storms areawide for the middle to end of next week.
