There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness for sensitive groups like the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening hours. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion. &&

THUNDERSTORMS
Moderate risk for dry lightning with minimal rain as well as gusty and erratic winds. TEMPERATURES
Highs 90 to 100 across the lower mountains,valleys,and adjacent foothills, and 80 to 90 closer to the coast. Deep mixing heights of 10,000 to 15,000 feet today. IMPACTS
Moderate risk for fire starts associated with dry lightning. Additionally, there is a continued risk of large plume dominated fires across the interior with rapid fire spread and extreme fire behavior.
