HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THURSDAY TO 8 PM PDT SATURDAY
WHAT
For the Wind Advisory, northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 55 mph expected. For the Heat Advisory, temperatures up to 95 expected. WHERE

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. In the event of a nearby wildfire, smoke may increase heat and physical stress. If smoke impacts your area; 1) Have a cooling plan in place as smoke could limit your ability to cool your home through open windows and 2) If you have air conditioning, set on air recirculation within the home to avoid smoke exposure. Local officials may have additional guidance. &&
