Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Minor coastal erosion is also expected. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Elevated surf of 3-6 feet, with sets to 7 feet, on south and southwest-facing beaches. High tides are expected to peak between 6.5 and 7.0 feet during the mornings and evenings.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions. &&

Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures ranging from the mid 80s to lower 90s at the beaches to the mid 90s to around 100 for the mesas and other higher coastal terrain. Nights will be very warm with low temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s. WHERE

Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. &&
