Minor to moderate coastal flooding is expected, especially for vulnerable south-facing beaches like Point Mugu and Port Hueneme. High surf of 5 to 8 feet is also expected with strong rip currents. WHERE

For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 2 PM PDT Tuesday. For the High Surf Advisory, from 6 AM to 10 PM PDT Sunday. IMPACTS
Sea-water flooding of beach and harbor roads, parking lots, and walkways is likely, especially around the time of high tide. Very isolated damage is possible. Significant beach erosion is expected. There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
High tides of 7.0 to 7.5 feet will be common each morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in such conditions, stay off the rocks. &&
