Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 330 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms in the Morongo Basin. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Low water crossings and sensitive washes will likely be flooded or have elevated flows. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms Base, Twentynine Palms Airport, Amboy, Joshua Tree Lake Campground, Joshua Tree and Morongo Valley. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The Colorado River Valley including Lake Mead, Lake Mohave, Lake Havasu, Needles, Laughlin, and Bullhead City. Mohave County, southern and northeastern Clark County, the Spring Mountains, and the Sheep Range. WHEN
From 5 AM PDT /5 AM MST/ early this morning to 8 PM PDT /8 PM MST/ this evening. IMPACTS
Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Expect dangerous boating conditions for all water craft on area lakes.

Portions of northwest Arizona, including the following areas, Hualapai Mountains, Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave, Lake Mead - AZ side, Lake Mohave - AZ side, Northwest Deserts and Northwest Plateau, southeast California, including the following areas, Cadiz Basin, Death Valley National Park, Eastern Mojave Desert, Morongo Basin, San Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley and Western Mojave Desert, and Nevada, including the following areas, Esmeralda and Central Nye County, Lake Mead - NV side, Lake Mohave - NV side, Las Vegas Valley, Lincoln County, Northeast Clark County, Sheep Range, Southern Clark County, Spring Mountains-Red Rock Canyon and Western Clark and Southern Nye County. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
