At 155 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Green Valley, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD

Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include
Sahuarita, Green Valley and Arivaca Junction. This includes Interstate 19 between mile markers 31 and 46.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. && LAT

At 145 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated weakening thunderstorms over the warned area that extends from Oro Valley into the Catalina Foothills. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD

Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include
Catalina, Oro Valley, Marana, Casas Adobes, Flowing Wells, Tanque Verde, Tortolita, Catalina State Park, Catalina Foothills, Sabino Canyon Recreation Area and Seven Falls. This includes the following highways
Route 77 between mile markers 71 and 87. Interstate 10 between mile markers 243 and 253. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations
Silverbell Rd near Ina Rd, Camino De La Tierra at the Rillito River, Limberlost Rd from Soilder Trail to Homestead Ave, Overton Rd at Canada del Oro, Snyder Rd from Kolb Rd to Sabino Canyon Rd, Sunset Rd west of Camino de Oeste and E Wilds Rd at the Canada del Oro. This includes the following streams and drainages
Agua Caliente Wash, Bird Canyon, Esperero Wash, Ventana Canyon Wash, Sutherland Wash, Santa Cruz River, Oro, Caada del, Rillito River, Tanque Verde Wash, Sabino Creek, Chirreon Wash, Indian Well Wash, Big Wash, Pantano Wash and Chalk Creek.

- At 1138 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms extending from Red Rock to Silver Bell. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages
Tiro Wash, El, Blanco Wash, Santa Cruz River, Mammoth Wash, Guild Wash, Aguirre Wash, House Wash, Cocio Wash, Robles Wash, Los, Brawley Wash and Viopuli Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Marana, Avra Valley, Pinal Airpark, Picture Rocks, Red Rock and Silver Bell. - This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 223 and 236. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations
